Hemel Storm are excited to reveal the signing of 6ft8 New Zealand international forward Brayden Inger for the 2023-24 season.
The 24-year old comes to Hemel off the back of 3 successful years competing for Southland Sharks in the New Zealand National Basketball League, where he most recently averaged 10 points and 4 rebounds in 14 games.
Brayden also had a spell playing in the Australian NBL for Cairns Taipans and has competed for the ‘Tall Blacks’, in a FIBA World Cup qualifier against India and has made appearances for the New Zealand Youth sides, notably at U16 level.
Storm fans can look forward to a new face around town and Brayden will be committed to give his all to help the team with his height and physical presence inside, as well as being a very capable outside shooter showing he has scoring options all over the court.
Be ready to welcome Brayden to the family when he arrives, with a warm reception in the squad’s first home game against Team USA Select at the StormDome on the Sunday 10th September at 6pm.
Advanced tickets for September home games and a list of all fixtures for this season can be found online at www.stormbasketball.net.
