Hemel Storm are glad to announce the signing of 22-year old British talent Greg Durand! Durand played in NBL D1 last year, for competitors Team Solent Kestrels, where he averaged an impressive 9 points per game, also pulling down 4 rebounds in his average 26 minutes.
Durand will be recognised for his impressive performance as Storm battled their way past the Kestrels last year in a 4 point victory where Durand worked hard and frustrated Storm’s offence with a determined defensive display as well as leading the scoring for his side with 21 points as he shot 72% from the field, stopping the Storm from getting away.
Fans will hope to witness many more of these performances this year, in the Storm colours as opposed to against them!
Get ready to get behind Greg and the side this year, as the Storm are rolling in beginning with the friendly against Team USA Select on Sunday 10th September at the StormDome; 6pm tip off!
