We say goodbye and more importantly, thank you, to a Hemel Storm legend

The word legend is a term thrown around loosely nowadays but in the case of Bode Adeluola, a perfect word to describe a man who has given his all for the club for the past 10 years.

Adeluola joined the club in 2011 and immediately became a star. In his first season, he helped the club reach promotion to Division One and win the Patrons Cup, leading the team in scoring that season with 19.2 points a game. Storm have competed in Division One ever since, Adeluola has averaged double digits in scoring every season and over that time well and truly established himself as one of greatest English players to compete in the National Basketball League. Adeluola also featured in the side that won the National Cup back in 2018.

Bode has been a Hemel fan-favourite right from when he first joined and throughout the years has provided tremendous entertainment for the Storm faithful, his ability to score the ball in multiple ways led to him to become only the second player to reach 3000 points. Whenever Storm needed Bode, more often than not he was there to deliver.

We would like to place on record our heartfelt thanks to Bode for his loyalty, service and huge contribution to making the club what it is today.
