Storm have announced that after completing a 2 year programme, Head Coach Robert Youngblood has resigned from his role and will not be returning to the club next season.
Under Youngblood's leadership, Storm were National cup champions in 2018 and Play-off finalists. This success has once again put Storm firmly on the map as one of the leading clubs in British basketball.
Tony Humphrey Storm Chairman said "In his time with us, Robert has brought both basketball excitement and won silverware that has rightly earnt him a special place in our club's history and much affection from our fans and members of the wider community.. .
He has coached us to two major national finals and lifting the National Cup will remain an incredible achievement, creating some fantastic moments and memories for us all.
On behalf of everybody at the club, I want to thank Robert for his endless hard work and the loyalty he has shown to the team, myself and the management committee. I know the fans will want to thank him too for he is a much liked and accessible figure whatever the result of the game. He will remain a friend of the club and we look forward to seeing him soon.
