GAME PREVIEW
Sunday 12th November - 5.30pm tip off
Hemel Storm vs Teesside Lions
National Cup

Hemel Storm face Teesside Lions in the 4th Round of the National Cup - a title which Storm are aiming to defend this season.

The two teams come into the fixture with different spells of form. Storm’s form has been mixed whereas the away side come into the game having won their last 4 games.

Despite competing in Division Two, Teesside have not been short of ambition having formed in 2007. They play their home games in the Eston Sports Centre, holding 1200 capacity and have a talented roster with NBL experience. Storm fans will be welcoming back Jamie Rodwell to the StormDome as the Lions look to cause an upset on the road. Coming off the back of 4 successive victories, they will be full of confidence; to which Storm must not get complacent in order to achieve an important victory.

As for Storm, it was a disappointing defeat to Bradford Dragons in the semi final of the KitKing Trophy. They will look to respond efficiently and improve upon mistakes they made. Coming into the game as the favourites, Storm need to make sure that they stay focused and showcase a professional performance. The home side look to use their athleticism to their advantage with a talented starting 5 and depth on the bench.

Overall, this encounter will be an interesting fixture, and a challenge for Storm who need to be on their A game from the start. Lions will definitely be competing until the final buzzer, so lapses of concentration will need to be prevented.

Come along and bring the noise on Sunday. Tickets are available online here.
